My requirements for a new smartphone were: max. 350 Euro, Android (Apple retires at the price already and preference to Windows 8 wg. Quasi unlimited Apps), SD card expansion, at a pinch one-handed operation, pocket size (I do not like giant cell phone pockets and certainly not foldable) and HD display and very important: no Samsung Plastic Bomber - because I have been sick with other saw me and felt tired. The Xperia T has a narrow head and neck race with the LG Optimus 4X HD comes to the end, which was a few euros cheaper. So I just again old school ran into a store and both held in the hand. Clearly: the display of the LG is world-class: not too big, but with high resolution and quad-core still rapidly. Only problem: the plastic feel. It is just not good in your hand does not feel wertig to. When I touch my phone it must always make fun of me. This has ultimately made the difference for Xperia: it just makes every again fun to use it. You can already see when you turn that one here has a good product in hand. The concave shape and the rough back of it differ from the other smartphones, keyword plastic parts. I think it looks classy and feels classy. I can at 1.95m height and corresponding paws just so with one hand. There is really very little to complain about now after 4 weeks use, although my criticism as a decision aid:
--- The battery life is too low. Without great Videos and games, so just a little Internet, Whatsapp, email etc. I'm currently on maternity leave just as on the day (I know all optimization options have been exhausted). The part was presented last fall as the flagship, as one would calm can spendieren a larger battery. When I go back to work there will certainly be enough but if you eg times makes a city break and used it as a guide I had this bad feeling ......
--- I watch (supplied with Jelly Bean 4.1.2) the same problem as Niklas below. There are here and there slight delays, now jerky and hakelt it but here and there it out, but I can live with.
Like so much in life is also the Xperia T is not perfect but all in all I'm very happy with the Xperia T and would buy again. One star deduction for the battery performance. I just hope that the battery does not have to be so quickly gives up his mind and replaced expensive. Namely, it can not be changed even.
