This disc is not the transcription of a concert, but an already existing disk assembly, the official live Absoluty of LIVE group, published in 1968. It corresponds to the CD1, and logically offers from titles of the first two albums Doors. For the rest, we have a collage of two live bands, outings long after the band split. The set is well-crafted, consistent, and allows especially to have on a single support, the main live recordings of The Doors. It's a bit pricey but worth it, since it is the equivalent of a double vinyl + two albums.
The fame of The Doors is not to do, so I will not spend the securities reviewed. Here we have that classic, as the grandiose, with this unique sound, due to the absence of bass player, this small side "amateur" Doors (of rhythmic Manzareck is roughly the same whatever the songs!). Yet it is a unique sound, perfectly coherent, and that's what makes the Doors did sounded like no other band. This is still true today, which would explain, apart from the personality of their singer, intact reputation of the group 40 years later.
