If you are looking for a perfect portrait lens, you found it! And that, without breaking the bank! No make focus or back focus on my copy, the resolution is simply amazing for a target of this award. The Canon 85mm f / 1.8 is very well built, not like an L, but hey, it is not far, only missing the hood ET-65II to be purchased extra, luckily it is not very expensive. In summary this is probably the best value of Canon lenses, a must not to be missed.
