A lid and no longer!

The cover (77mm) keeps very well! But that was the only good news.
Unfortunately disadvantage are three points:
1. The beige supplied tape is extremely short and never fit in a lens with lens hood. For this it is not made of rubber and somewhere must be tied to the lens and can not just any round where are looped. I wonder just where ?! Next, the tape is not firmed already on the cover and this so steep edges that I threw after 5 minutes the towel. So lid comes back in your pocket!
2. The inner handles (that's why I've only ever bought the cover) have no depression or are not relief ground, so that you can easily slip. With dry hands but you can put the lid on the lens despite sun visor (better fumble) and remove. I mean that is the main selling point for the piece of plastic.
3. The cover is in contrast to the original (Canon) in the inner edge is too small and can gladly be placed diagonally. In addition, the inside is centered very deep, so that you can very easily touched in the end with the cover in the middle of the front glass of the lens :-(

In short:
Given the exorbitant price of a 30ct fabric, the manufacturer would have to make a few more thoughts. As a normal cover, the original is better! But he really holds bombs!
