Genre / game (s) Type:
TESV (TheEldarScrollsSkyrim) is a single-player role-playing game. Although one easily with fellow players in discussions, but it can not really play together. Man pulls a more or less solitary hero through the entire world (Skyrim, Skyrim to German). Players who collect, hoard and Discover are like good hands in the gigantic game world. For those that prefer a fixed given role, strict main story like is the place to go wrong, because then it exploits only a tiny part of the game.
Edition Contents:
The Legendary Edition includes in addition to the main game, all three DLCs (there are no further more come out) and a beautifully designed map of Skyrim, the consideration it is well worth hang.
Story:
The main story of TESV is not particularly large compared to the overall game. It is enthralling vorrangetrieben, well staged and all in all satisfactory and exciting. But the bulk of the game lies in the countless quests, discoveries, proceed the various options and to choose within the orders. One can confidently bring multiple characters through the story of Skyrim, without losing the game, or play using the memory points set ourselves anything with a character. With the latter, I'm, like other speakers came to a little over 500 hours of play.
Gameplay:
Other role players force the character itself (maybe even some hybrid classes) to choose between classes like mages, fighters and rogue. Skyrim makes the Level system very user friendly and easy: The hero has different abilities that increase with each use, until they reach the next level (maximum 100). Whenever a skill level up, the progress to the next character level increases. Once this is achieved, the character will receive a talent point that it can invest in the talent trees of individual skills.
It is therefore possible to accept any style of play. For me it has come down on it, have that I have at the beginning of the game tried everything, then adopted a playing style and maximize as this was a new tried.
The control is jntuitiv and easy to understand. The menu is a bit fiddly, what the game fun but hardly limits.
Technology:
Skyrim looks very, very nice. Maybe it can not keep up with Crysis 3, but it impresses with its self-contained, matching style, his beautifully rendered world and creates an atmospheric experience. The music is haunting and appropriate to the situations. It highlights the experience without too much attention. The sounds of the environment, animal and players are mostly suitable.
I can not Skyrim on maximum settings games, but nonetheless, the world looks amazingly good. Of course, the better the machine, the more beautiful the game.
One of the few drawbacks are a few errors in the game, but can be repaired by the modding described below mostly.
"Modding":
One of the best and by many players (myself included) no notice is part Skyrim modding.
1) "What's Modding?" Modifications ("mods") are files that are created by other players and change the game. For example, the Mod HD2K replaces the default textures of the game with higher quality textures. The Mod SkyUI replaces the somewhat confusing Standard Inventory and spell lists, by a significantly more user-friendly system. Modding is now so simple that anyone zurechkommt so that can download files from the Internet. For beginners, I recommend the Youtube User Gopher: [...]
and the side Skyrim Nexus: [...]
Bethesda, the developer, variations of the game not only allow, but have the game even so created that modding is supported.
2) "Is Modding legal?" Yes. Bethesda allows modding for the series "The Eldar Scrolls" already for ages. The Fallout saga benefited. It is as I said not only allowed, but also supported. The only illegal thing that could happen is that a mod illegally use other brands and brings to Skyrim, but that has not yet happened to me.
3) "Is Modding dangerous?" Yes and no. Se modding improve the game in many ways. It adds more content added to the original, the computer's performance improved, making it less frustrating. But of course it may be that you accidentally installed two mods that together have strange effects. All these are very simple, such Probelme are also easily remedied (almost) always under the description of the Mod and again.
4) "What are the mods?" Countless. From Skyrim Nexus were at the time, was created as this post 99 103 files that had been more than 370 million copies downloaded.
Mods include areas of better textures, more quests and orders, more game mechanics, higher stability and resolve common mistakes new animations of the character or the complete restructuring of the entire game
All in all, modding definitely be a reason to buy games in the future for me, because there I can improve the game and cut precisely to me. ATTENTION: Modding is only possible on the PC! The console version is not improved.
Conclusion:
Pro Contra
+ Sophisticated character design - short main quest
+ Many hours Quest - time inventory bit fiddly (unrecoverable by mods)
+ Nice game (by mods even better) - a few places rough textures (unrecoverable by mods)
+ Collecting and exploring experiences - some technical error (unrecoverable by mods)
+ Adaptive game (additional content) by Modding
+ Ingenious playing style
From me a strong buy recommendation. The three DLCs Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn would together over 40 costs without the main game. The entire game fascinates and attracts all lovers of RPGs into its spell.
