Super Game !, but lousy control via Wii-Mote (+ Nunchuck)

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - [Nintendo Wii] (Video Game)

Customer Review

First of all, the game is one of the best games that Nintendo has ever created, and on the other hand one of the best fighting games in general. Anyone familiar with the predecessor is also love this part.

In this game probably meet the famous and popular Nintendo characters to each other, and "hit" can be taken literally, because here Mario, Link, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pikachu fight, and many many more, for the victory in the ring ( or more specifically, the Stage).

Each character plays thereby refreshingly different. All fighters are different fighting style (rather melee, ranged, or balanced) and in its (training) movement (some can fly for a short time, others are somewhat slower and can not fly, etc.).

Through various items and the mutability of the stages are not only the opponent to become a challenge. Since it usually rather hectic to go, it can happen, namely, that a mine you step by mistake or strikes, and thus their Sprengfreudigkeit faces that ever can carry quite quickly from the Bilfläche a (in the truest sense of the word).

In addition to the countless single player there are of course the most fun multiplayer. With a total of 4 players on one console can fight you, who have to pay the next case of beer or the grilled meats since. However, this can happen that some friendship threatens to break apart and mutated into bitter rivalry;) and when times no one is there, there is still the online mode in which complete strangers fight their differences.

So much for the extremely fun part of the game. Now we come to the dark side but which, in my opinion, can cause extremely disturbing and frustration: The control.

For Classic Controller I can not say anything because I do not own, but playing with Wii-Mote (with and without Nunchuck) is already quite unreasonable. I often have the feeling that the character just does not run or jump in the direction you want, as I command keystroke. Especially in situations where one is likely to disappear from the scene, often denied entry. When I try to save myself with a double jump via the button "up" and to up out even a spin attack, so I was supposed to land on the stage, my character does not usually easy, and falls into a bottomless pit.
Even on solid ground, the movement of the character is fairly imprecise because sometimes too slow or hectic. I have a feeling that the N64, and the Gamecube controller were simply better. Generally I find the Wii-Mote from key layout is not particularly successful. Partial to a few keys (in the case of Brawl then missing the gripping button to throw opponents) and simply badly placed. In first-person shooters are the and "2" buttons "1" totally out of place and difficult to reach. This is much better (* cough * * cough * Playstation Move).

As it stands now I have probably no choice, as an extra, for just this game, a Classic Controller to buy, to get some more control over my character. And I think frankly kind of stupid, because I have to also say that I rather play with Xbox, Playstation and PC, and because I have such general control problems not because the key layout is simply much better. And since I anyway few Wii games and also own little games with this console, in my opinion, worth to no additional controller.

Ps: All Fernbedieungen that I tried, including those of friends, showed a very imprecise control pad on.
PPS: Or is it less to the Wii-mote, but rather the game that the character movement comes somewhat imprecise? In LittleBigPlanet for PS3, it was namely to borrow the game that the characters hopped quite imprecise through the area. Perhaps you could enlighten me yes;)

Otherwise the game is, as I said, top notch.
