In general, I am never disappointed by the texts of Amélie Nothomb and this is confirmed once again with Neither Eve nor Adam. Through her love life, we discover Japanese customs, to say the least disconcerting for a Westerner, often ready to smile. It's very well written, despite a few too long and too lyrical descriptions, and we want our turn to go to the land of rising sun after this very strong message of love Amelie to one of its childhood countries. A very good book in the end.
