The holder itself is very low. Thus, the shaving brush can not be mounted on the handle (for example, in a notch at the end of the handle). The handle of my chosen shaving brush would be apart from also too thick for it. Instead, the brush is, of course, pushed the hair down, directly between the handle and head into the recess of the holder, so that the handle rests above.
When pushing unfortunately sometimes individual hairs are outside partly something umgeknickt / bent, which is at least visually not quite as nice and possibly could mean an isolated hair breakage for the expensive shaving permanently.
Who has left for the money (and has already spent a lot of money for shaving), should probably be better to buy a holder, in which the brush is mounted on the handle.
Otherwise, this convenient holder fulfilled his purpose here and the shaving can nicely dry. Better buy these cheap holder than none, so that the brush is not with the hair stands up and thus dammed the water.
