Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy:
In addition to rare graphic errors this is an almost perfect platformer. Unfortunately, the cutscenes are not still be canceled (with the other two parts, as to PS2 times already). During the first games will be this indeed did not cancel, but later they can be a bit annoying.
Jak II: Renegade:
Actually a very good game, but of the three, in my opinion, the weakest and also the one with the most deficiencies.
In particular, some additional checkpoints have significantly improved the gameplay, some points are yet more difficult than I had remembered.
It also comes in Haven City from time to time dropouts of background music, now and then diving pop-ups on the life and display icons of the characters are pretty blurry (apparently not revised?).
In the bonus material the unlockable album comes in 16: 9 stretched in front, although it is actually in 4: 3 format would have to be, this can be remedied but by TV / remote control.
Jak 3:
Jak 3 does pretty much everything better, which was less good in the second part. Nevertheless, there is rare graphical errors and pop-ups, and even here the bonus album is in the wrong format, but here it seems a strange 4: 4 format to be (?).
In all the above shortcomings is (perhaps apart from the checkpoints in Jak II) to little things that should not stop anyone from playing these three very good games. Then as now, they offer terrific fun and a decent extent.
I would be very happy if there was a second Jak and Daxter HD Collection with 'Jak X HD', 'Daxter HD' and: would be, even though the quality of these games is not the original trilogy 'Jak and Daxter The Lost Frontier HD' zoom ranges.
