Retrospective Sternstunde

The CD is actually from 1992 and I still have the old package with four-digit ZIP Code. I have become through this CD for Maceo Parker fan because I have after that bought some of his discs from him. Maceo Parker is already well alone. But here, along with the old companions of the radio flares from James Brown's best times, presented by the original musicians in which outgrow in a concert all concerned about himself. Echer earthy radio without airs.

Often musicians draw on safe terrain is returned once received. Here, however, this incredible blend of precision and playfulness is simply rarely materialize. My favorite is the opening track Shake Everything You've Got. The Groove step by step builds up after two half minutes growing anticipation uses the horn section, the piece also completed later beautifully gentle.
