The pity is that the surface is smooth and therefore the bread does not get the typical grill pattern. The surface is non-stick coating, so that really nothing sticks, also the cleaning is a breeze. The greatest disadvantage and thus the only real complaint I have is the stability. The Panini Grill is so light that it easily flips when closing. A real pressing the top grill is not possible. The short cable (I feel that are getting shorter) hardly reaches the extension socket at the table, the annoying also.
That the grill does not have a temperature control, we have not considered a disadvantage.
