Migration
SSD via USB (no adapter is included), or install a second hard drive, install software from the CD and start cloning. (Duration at inclusion as a second plate about 30-45min at "120GB SSD PNY" to "256GB Samsung SSD" [ca busy 100GB])
Speed (top):
After installation I was only a little puzzled and thought it was something wrong with the migration ... But no, it is no more Windows logo when you start and the Windosstart decking beams you see only if you look at the right time. It takes about 20-25s to the laptop of total "off" in Windows and is fully operational (firewall restart etc.)
According to Samsung's software:
4072 MB / s Sequential Read
3791 MB / s sequential write
Direketes reading (IOPS): 136 531
Tetes direct write (IOPS): 93903
Operating System: laptop: Intel i7 (midfield), 8GB of RAM, Win 7 Prof.
Compared to the old SSD (PNY 120GB) so far only at start striking. This was again accelerated strongly.
Conclusion: This is the board quickly, is I think beyond doubt, actually they must now walk / run just long ....
