Finally there is a new Haggard CD.Auch when I was a little disappointed at first, I have to say now: The band has done it again. Eppur Si Muove is really well thought out from start to finish and does not have a gap filler. Already the first song, "All 'inizio e la Morte" is a real firecracker and probably reminded not without reason on the good old Awaking the Centuries. But the following songs are re symbiosis of death metal and classical music with absolutely brilliant vocals, there is a wide range of instruments. Of course there were the obligatory in Metal electric guitars and drums, as well as violins, oboe, cello, a Crumhorn etc., accompanied by the brilliant voices of the sopranos, fierce grunts and neuederdings even two super tenors. The texts are recited by the way mainly in English and Latin, but also in German or Italian. All in all, Haggard with "Eppur Si Muove" So managed a complex and all-round good work, the comparison does not have to be afraid. Really can Haggard but anyway compared to any other band. The only alternative that comes to mind an In Extremo, but come on no relation to Haggard. Who does not know Haggard, has really missed something. So, to all classical and / or metal fans: definitely listen and buy!
