Developer disappointed

I hoped that by buying this book would be addressing (at least some) of the "mechanics" of PrestaShop, the concept of the hook, the organization of db, change the template or better yet create a module, even straightforward . No it is not, this book speaks only of backoffice and will not find a single line of code.
Developers go your way.
I put all times 2 stars because even though I have not read a neophyte in Prestashop may be helped to find their way in a backoffice not always easy to handle.
