Disappointment for fans from 1 part

It is some time since I last played Jak & Daxter. The first part on the PS2 liked but consistently good. The graphics were good, the motley gefielt me ​​personally good. The level design was also positive. Although the missions were nothing special, but still made a lot of fun. Only the relatively short playing time could complain at the 1st part.

Consequently, I had to the 3rd part fairly high expectations. The 2nd part I have not played.

The graph of Jak 3 is used well, to me personally but to grim.

Nothing more with carefree jumping around between palm trees and waterfalls.

Instead Endzeitstimmung, lots of sand, all shades of brown.

Compared with the first part, the levels are also relatively confusing and it takes a bit to get used will cope.

The missions are quite varied. But the missions are also the main reason for my not so good rating of the game. The difficulty level is just too high, especially in the beginning.

Hardly any mission that you do not have to repeat dozens of times to create them. After less than an hour I had already tired of the game. Whereas I liked the controller hardly put it down in the first part.

This is because as we said, the relatively high degree of difficulty. Among the first 6 or 7 missions there were 3 in which I progressed only after the 9th or 10th attempt. That's pretty demotivating especially in the beginning.

And I know God no "beginners" in terms of PS2 and Jump 'n' runs and Jak & Dexter. For someone who has never played Jak & Dexter, it must be pretty hard to deal with it.

What can be faulted yet except the high degree of difficulty is the camera work. Where the first part of the automatic camera rendered still pretty good job you have, especially in smaller levels to continually correct what to see even the camera with the right stick in Jak 3. : - \

All in all, Jak 3 still a good game, the main point of criticism is for me personally but the difficulty which one can really spoil the fun of the game.
