Good length of cable, but after several trials of 5 USB 3.0 PC original, whether data transfers or reading audio or video files, I have unwanted disconnections on multiple hard drives WD brand, Samsung and Toshiba (between 1to in and 2to 2.5 inches).
These disconnections also lead to abolition of certain non-erasable disk errors or the Trash (files or folders has 0 bytes was not clear)
Too bad I'll have to find another USB 3.0 cable more reliable.
