I am now the proud owner of a BeeWi BT receiver. This part looks quite chic. The blue LED lights up every 3 seconds and is rather weak, which is why it does not bother. Super I find that to be the correct cables supplied equal. So now, but the important part. I have now tested the receiver with a Samsung Galaxy 3 and a MacBook Pro. When Samsung everything works immediately and the sound is more than adequate. I hear very little difference to the normal RCA cable. The MacBook Pro but it looked different. The MBP has the receiver found immediately and was able to connect with no problems with it, but what came out of the speakers verschlug frankly I was speechless. The sound was so abysmal that one the could not do. I flirted for a long time with a BT I have the Belkin BT receiver considered. There was a very helpful review of "Paul" Eagle Eye "" thence he describes the problem that I had. I then changed the BT audio settings according to his little guidance and behold super sound. It is not necessarily the recipient but rather to the settings of the transmitter. So do not give the same bad review and send it back, but just try a little bit and then it works well. Here's the quick guide:
1. Turn off Bluetooth
Quit 2. iTunes or other audio programs
3. Terminal start (in Utilities) and following (quietly every 6 rows in one go copy & paste) on the command line and press Enter:
defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent "Apple Bitpool Max (editable)" 80
defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent "Apple Bitpool Min (editable)" 48
defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent "Apple Initial Bitpool (editable)" 40
defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent "Negotiated Bitpool" 58
defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent "Negotiated Bitpool Max" 58
defaults write com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent "Negotiated Bitpool Min" 48
4. Start the computer again
5. Enable Bluetooth and the Belkin as an audio output device to activate ..
If all goes well it should sound better and cracking sounds clearly. In order to be absolutely sure you read the settings with the following line in the terminal and check whether they have been retained:
defaults read com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent
(If the selected values are not compatible with the Bluetooth unit, set automatically to default back! I tried a bit and the abovementioned values have in my works beautifully with the Belkin and were maintained automatically.)
Why I did not take the Belkin BT receiver?
Simply :) the BeeWi has a few advantages. He has no power supply, but can be plugged directly into the wall socket. Furthermore, it also features a USB port to other devices to load. Reason No. 3 and the last is that the BeeWi is white: D well I mags like to know and that's why the super fit. All in all I'm very happy with the BeeWi and would recommend it definitely.
