Bill Conti's "For Your Eyes Only" would have to be almost completely contained, but tracks like "Runaway" or "Submarine" missing plain and simple. David Arnold wrote with "The World is Not Enough" a top-notch soundtrack, "Come in 007, your time is up" (fantastic extension of Dr. No theme) and "Ice Bandits" are two ingenious contributions to the musical universe Bond , none of them is represented. Marvin Hamlischs "Spy who loved me" would deliver "Bond 77" another successful facet of the dynamic agent. The ski pursuit theme from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is missing as well, and, and, and ...
Of course, compilations are always a matter of taste. But CD 2 is too often only a tepid breeze from the Bond oeuvre, since so much would be simply to mark the 50th birthday have been more in it. The choice is largely incomprehensible to me, unless you want to encourage people to buy all the single soundtracks. They would then have but 2 CD can save the same. Unfortunately, even Moby's Bond Mix no reason to buy, Hamlisch, Conti and Arnold have this issue - original varies - in their own time and with the appropriate options.
So: the Bond songs in successful presentation with a nice cover for single-CD top, this double CD but but is it not worth it - not even the moderate additional cost. Just my humble opinion.
