Jorn Lande is the greatest. The king of all metal singer and of related genres. A demigod oh what I red a god of music scene.

But since this will be an Amazon review, I try immediately turn off the Fanmodus and objectively judging: Jorn Lande is the greatest. The king of all metal singer and of related genres. A demigod oh what I red a god of music scene. Even though I always Masterplan- things heard are most comfortable with him until the present moment, his solo discs me musically almost too interchangeable and really stand out only because of his voice from the average. Nevertheless, he remains an incomparable singer with large unique selling point and brand recognition. I am even a hobby singer in a band and saw him live once. Since you really pales with envy as someone it brings about no visible effort so lie an impressive vocal performance.

As a passionate collector then had of course also produce this record. First of all, a tip for all those who want to buy at the store this album. It is located in the Regal neither J as Jorn, nor included in L as land, nor under T as Trond Holter or H like. I have 3 stores needed to realize that it was under D as Dracula.

The opener Hands of your God then goes also going rather introspective and it would be coherent if one can not be blinded them and regarded him rather as an intro. For the rest of 9 tracks you get the finest hard rock around the ears, which I've never heard so personally. Jorn shows here finally back all its facets of his vocal abilities, among other elements where he is in my opinion much too limiting for his solo albums themselves. In Masquerades ball among other things a more profound vocal performance in which I was impressed that he can convey such pitches as well expressive. In general, the singing is of course beyond doubt, for what Jorn over brings in a row need other singers entire albums. But also the
Lady who comes into appearance from track 5, can be enjoyable listen, because her voice comes in diva-hook heights with pain-inducing frequencies, but she sings quite natural and we therefore believe her every note. That one hinbekommt epic and dramatic without exaggerated bombast in the form of several orchestras, but only by convincing songwriting, is demonstrated here as impressive. In contrast to the last Blind Guardian, which is so cluttered again that it gives only some mushy and all details could make a statement perish, here goes a classic rock occupation, supplemented with piano, violin and panpipes. Also guitarist Mr. Holter of which I had hitherto never heard what shows in instrumental Truelove through blood he his craft more than mastered without drift into exaggerated and out lutschtes Gefrickel.

The songs move rather mid-paced, making it the basis of compelling melodies but no less exciting. Stylistically, roughly comparable to the best of Alice Cooper, Meat Loaf, Queen, maybe a little running wild and very little Rhapsody, well and even Jorn or master plan. Who but a plate with standardized rocksongs is expected disappointed. There are virtually no classic song structure, ie intro verse-chorus-verse-chorus. Since it is already rather progressive to the point, but then again the themed musical Feeling benefits. At the same time manages the feat, not drifting in the case expected kitsch or a certain bulkiness, everything goes fine ear and every song is a rock number. This is also supported by the fact that no annoying intermediate passages or excess filler can be found. Therefore, I can not name a specific check out tip, because every song has its own appeal. Because it fits well to the fact that unlike similar-scale projects such as Avantasia and Co no exaggerated presentation with dozens Gastsängern- and musicians is really necessary, because the music speaks for itself and did not make it necessary to be pushed with prominent names.

One can only hope that the two composers the story of Dracula is not finished yet and told there again sometime comes a successor. If not you could pick up on so other classic stories and then call it Frankenstein. This I will then look right below F.
