An absolute gem of Swing

Sometimes I wonder why really good music is so little attention. Almost everyone is familiar with Glenn Miller and probably also music from his home, as long as "Swing" falls into musical Beuteschema.

Harry James, however, apparently does not seem to be so well known, at least not in Germany.

And would have if not the song "It's been a long, long time" used in the movie Captain America "The Winter Soldier" in the scene where Samuel L. Jackson in the apartment of the captain is waiting for selfsame and thereby to record this touching song runs in the background, I knew until today nothing of Harry James.

Thanks to "Shazam" I received the necessary information and have this CD ordered here immediately.

She runs with me for days and I'm thrilled! The excellent review of the previous speaker has nothing to add, so I will confine myself only to the recommendation, a listen here at Amazon times in the MP3s. Or possibly even with the Konkurremz with the apple, because as the title instead of 30 seconds, a minute can be alluded long.

The CD (2 pieces) are of excellent quality and it is phenomenal how outstanding is the sound in these yet very old recordings.

Conclusion: Harry James is a real find for lovers of swing and will inspire my opinion. The feet paddles with me in particular of the 2nd disc in a tour with :)
