TRAUMA is about a young woman lying after a serious car accident in the hospital and processed their fate in their dreams - to put it simply. The dreams are represented by images (photos), through which the player moves and so the world explored, on the one hand limited in space and little free exploration permits, but provides for each diverse alternative ends. In the vast majority of images one finds manipulable objects and puzzles that need to be solved. So in the first world, for example, a teddy bear is tucked under a large round stone. The stone can be raised also, however, only the symbol must be learned. And here we come to another feature of the game: TRAUMA controls Although the mouse, but intuitively as with a gesture control. To turn left? Left wipe (click and drag). A symbol needed? Simply paint on the screen. Works great, fun, and makes sure all the more interesting, as for example, easy to move with the arrow keys.
Accompanied is the game of oppressive and melancholic melodies; the voice acting is (especially in English) just an outstanding success for an indie game. To be able to motivate the players even at a multiple playthrough of the level, there is not only the aforementioned four corners of each level, but also to collect the photos (so to speak, picture in picture) show that certain scenes from the life of the protagonist and the should arouse the collector's instinct player. Although there are no Pokemon, but hey: collecting is collecting. So trauma can then also entertained for many hours, although a quick playthrough without photos and alternate endings is of course also possible.
Rätelfreunden, supporters of German products, in particular from the indie camp, trauma can, the winners of various games prices are only highly recommended (among other things the German Developer Award). Who does not strikes here is your own fault.
