a long time I was looking for an Amazon orderable, dual SIM Android Phone with good facilities and feel. Additionally, I was expecting sensible configuration options for dual SIM.
The WIKO Stairway met my expectations, here are my experiences after 4 weeks:
Hardware
-valent Housing (often criticized rear lid is thicker than that of my S2)
-Aluminium Frame
-5 "HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass. The screen is bright (in Auto mode), sharp and contrasty, but not as colorful as the AMOLED of S2.
-2 Standard SIM card slots and 1 Micro-SD card slot
Battery pack is replaceable
-The Quad-core - processor ensures a smooth and speedy operation
-The Two cameras are sufficient for snapshots from totally, the camera software offers several options. The Full HD video can be seen.
The speaker is loud enough, the risk of calls to ignore is not more!
Software
-Aktuell Android 4.21 installed
-On Its own surface was waived, Android is obtained thus pure and without unnecessary, resource-guzzling Manufacturer GUI.
-The Switch between home screens and access the apps running absolutely smoothly
-The Manufacturer renounced the installation of many unnecessary apps, he has installed to the standards only 3 games
Accumulator
I have 2 always active SIM cards in the phone, the phone an hour a day, write a few messages and call every hour my mails.
With this usage the phone every 2 days must then be loaded, so I am absolutely satisfied!
Connectivity
-The Wireless coverage is good, I see no difference from S2.
-Wireless Works in the apartment with the Fritz box everywhere well, until the next holiday will show what it looks like in a hotel lobby.
-GPS Had the first satellite fix problems, it took a few minutes in the apartment, it did not work. Since the last update I have also in the apartment GPS reception. (I find myself as well without Google Maps quite well ;-)
Dual SIM function
This is very well done. Everything is on offer what you need, which is not self-evident from other manufacturers! In Detail:
-For Each SIM ringtone and volume can be configured separately
-You Can deactivate SIM cards if necessary and then will no longer function. This can be very handy ..
-You Can set whether all calls with a particular card to be carried out, or whether to be prompted before each call.
But may deposit -Man also to be called via SIM1 or SIM 2 which contacts
-When Turning the data connection is to be used always wondered about what SIM for it.
- Unfortunately, a simultaneous 3G reception for both SIM cards are not accepted. You have to choose which is to receive these cards so. The second card will have only EDGE / GPRS reception.
Support
I had contacted the support in Hamburg before and after purchase. The staff were consistently good accessible, friendly and very kompetent.Versprochene callbacks occur and that too in real time!
Conclusion:
Certainly there are still some vendors with better equipped and cheaper dual SIM devices, directly from China.Ich but did not want to give up the good service and Amazon have therefore ordered there.
As before, I am very satisfied with the WIKO Stairway. So does the dual SIM fun.
Interested I was also the model Dark Full the same manufacturer. Unfortunately, it is there but neither the memory nor extend the battery exchange because I renounce then on aluminum housing and Full HD display!
