The device magnetically on stowable remote is an ingenious feature that makes this enjoyable fan in everyday life (in addition to the design), than other models.
Must, however, that the extra charge for the exceptional design be as high, is less pleasing - but one does not have to spend so much money, if it's one that is not worth.
I thus the only gripe come: the person at Dyson who has decided to deface this thoughtfully and deliberately designed in optics, to be very appealing, in discreet white with some silver held device with an indefinable dark-gray-brown power cord, maybe should switch to another manufacturer (eg the ceiling fans in vintage style with wooden wings manufactures ;-)).
Unfortunately, the power cord is permanently attached. I'm seriously thinking about it, it is easy to cut just behind the device and my soldering iron to heat up to replace it by a white ... unless I can find somewhere a white, slotted corrugated pipe to it to hide the grisly cable.
