I've been using for a long time fans and wind machine in my apartment. I set this almost exclusively pre-open window so fresh air comes in. Of course thus creates an air exchange, otherwise the room would burst ;-). Particularly in times of facade insulation, an air exchange is extremely important. If you follow the guidelines of the Federal Environment Agency with regard to proper ventilation, to get already scratching their heads. Especially in homes where no forced ventilation is possible, it is not so easy to care for dry, uncontaminated air. Unfortunately, there are also many corners in homes where there is little air circulation. Therefore, the fans certainly have important functions.
With me are already several devices to improve air quality. The Duracraft DD TEC10E dehumidifier and Fellowes AP-230PH PlasmaTrue Medium-sized air purifier, white / silver are quite frequently in use. But fresh air is still still the first choice. Therefore, I was glad the pedestal fan from Dyson allowed to test.
Commissioning
The fan comes on very safe and elaborately packaged. Unpacking will take longer than the composition. You should definitely make sure that you are looking for the tiny but enormously important and remote place. The composition is quick and easy. The fan can be operated are most comfortable with the remote control. Allerlings can regulate the stand the strength also.
Size
The maximum height is about 1,40m. This can be changed by about 22cm. The diameter of the (how does that really mean? * G *) "Luftrads / air ring" is approx 44,5cm. Thus, the Dyson is quite large.
Volume
At maximum strength of Dyson is quite loud. In medium strength you can still hear in it, but I find tolerable.
Air exchange
Since the Dyson scores clearly. The air flow is actually pleasant and evenly. At the moment I am about 50cm away from the device, the fan blows at level 3. The air flow is more reminiscent of an air conditioner because of a fan.
At full strength, he blows amazingly strong * wow * Also because you can hardly compare with the Dyson many other fans.
The angle of inclination is sufficient.
Cleaning
Who uses "normal" fans, knows the time-consuming purification procedures. Again, the Dyson is gratifying easy.
Criticism
As would be the volume, but has just been heard (see above). On the other hand, and that is relevant to me, the fan draws the air near the ground. Each fan with blades, each wind machine can be put loosely in front of a window. Thus, the unit draws fresh air into the room. When DYSTONIC pedestal fan, this is probably only possible with a patio door or very low windows with a very wide ledge.
Conclusion: The DYSTONIC pedestal fan is a beautiful, powerful device, the airflow is very pleasant. For me, however, would rather the Dyson Air Multiplier AM06 desk fan (24 watts, sleep timer, remote control) white / silver suitable. Who but a powerful Standventilator investigated for the Dyson is certainly not a bad choice.

Robust Dyson is also. He survived a fall from the window sill. I had not fixed him with enough weight and use it at night like at the window. As he pulls fresh air and blows into my loft. Therefore, I raise my rating to 5 stars.
