Shulk is known in the video game "Xenoblade Chronicles" of the Wii. The main character of the Japanese-RPG will be seen again in April in New 3DS remake of the game. He is number 25 of the Smash Bros. Amiibo Collection. Compared to previously published Amiibos I see Shulk to mediocre big, rather even a little smaller than average. It reaches roughly as high as Link, is a head shorter than Captain Falcon, Rosalina or Marth.
The design of the character I really like. Although the attitude of the character looks unnatural, really makes in figure form something forth. He wears the standard outfit known from the game, which was implemented extremely detailed. Here many colors to be used, it can be discovered small but nice painted pattern. The hair and the face are not true just outstanding, but make it a solid impression. The implementation of the nose, mouth and eyes like me for example, significantly better than when Marth-Amiibo.
Shulk is supported by a milky-transparent block that does its best to stay in the background and the full attention and to leave entirely to the figure. The figure wears a sword, the Monado. This runs parallel to the lower body and helps visually appealing impression. The Monado was slightly bent from the pack, but let it be deformed without problems to make it halfway to straighten. Here, the sword seemed stable, gentle pressure to the straightening makes the plastic out of nothing.
The Amiibo Shulk can be used in classic Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. In addition, the figure with the coming Xenoblade Chronicles will be 3D compatible. The New 3DS titles will offer some sort of collection, can be unlocked for the music and character models. If one these Amiibo on the bottom screen of the New 3DS, waving as bonus coins, which in turn are required to activate the collection contents.
Conclusion:
Previously Shulk is the highlight of my 15 models comprehensive Amiibo Collection. Although the attitude seems unnatural, but results in an incredibly respectable figure. The color scheme is complicated and scores with fine details. The sword is light bent, but can be a little pressure back into shape. So make Amiibos fun! Qualitatively really succeeded shame that the figure has probably get a little rest and is therefore now only expensive to purchase.
