Expectations: good resolution, software should work on Windows XP and Windows 7, external power supply due to weak INDEPENDENCE of USB ports
Reality: Scanner delivers outstanding results in text, photos and even in gegenständlichgen pictures (Platen protected by overhead transparency!)
FINDINGS: The deeds settings worked with me at first under Windows 7 is not. But with the help of EPSON support was soon clear that the so-called services settings in Windows 7 the evil were. After correction (Windows Image Acquisition WIA and all dependencies !!) everything was fine!
Recommendation: highly recommended
Price: Goods & Returns = top position in November 2010 in comparison
