Then it went to work installing.
Everything was going smoothly until we have integrated the other bought-wall thermostats ....
In two rooms all recognized (each 2 heating thermostats and wall thermostat), in a room but a thermostat was not.
Tried everything: factory reset the thermostat, remove space, remove device .... not working.
First we tapped on a faulty radiator thermostat and tried one from the next room. So this cleared in the next room and incorporated as a test in the other room. Did not work (suddenly had the same thermostat twice in the system).
Completely clearing the room was also not possible because of the software, the message came that when transmitting an error had occurred.
After much back and forth, we decided to reseten the Cube and all devices to factory settings.
After that, everything re-established once without Internet connection, only local network.
Behold, it works.
Trashed we have control over the app Max! Remote testing (very good app).
Week plans were created correctly, the room temperatures were displayed correctly and the manual temperature control works just fine.
I can only recommend to control each room has a wall thermostat and load the above app on phone or Tab.
Conclusion:
+ After some difficulty it runs easily and without intervention
Control + well with appropriate third-party software (have simple 7 "Tab on the wall and connected via WiFi)
+ More cost effective than comparable systems
+ Incl. Window Control (radiator thermostats close with the window open)
- Possibly cumbersome installation
- Factory software extremely in need of improvement (Should probably soon follow an update)
- Two different software programs (ELV and EQ-3), you have to be careful with whom you bought the system
If the difficulty of installation and even software wäreb not, it would have been enough to 5 star, so just. 3
Review after 4-6 weeks I'll update.
