I used this book to redo the electricity in our house. I knew nothing except my school physics course explaining the difference between a phase and neutral :) I am well documented on the net regarding standards and installation. My two references were first a catalog of Leroy Merlin, which was very good and this book. It is very well designed, clear and precise. For each piece for each type of installation, it contains the information that research. A counselor without moderation. Now, contrary to what would have made me a professional craftsman who would have taken me much more I could do everything myself and besides, I know exactly which wire leads to any electrical element. An electrician me it would simply put a label: Taken living example. The satisfaction of work well done yourself through this book!
