Excellent but 21

"PURE evokes F4" is an excellent product that offers maximum opportunities for a demanding user. It captures the chains of Terrestrial Digital Radio (DAB +, which unfortunately is not yet available in France), to capture FM radio broadcasts (with RDS) and listen to all the multiple, diverse and varied web radios available internet (ethernet connection or wireless). It also allows access to the many streaming music and sound stream banks available net. It also allows playback (via wifi or bluetooth) music files stored on computers and tablets. It can also broadcast sound to the wireless audio speaker of the enslaved arranged in several room of a house.
I only put 4 stars to rate this product because of some points (regrettable) to:
- This device is very expensive (almost 300 at AMAZON with rechargeable battery). It costs a lot more, even if it is more, than, for example, the LOGITECH squeezebox that is also very good in its class (I speak because I have one in my office). It ends up costing almost as expensive as the game BOSE sound-touch is a much better sound quality (I mention this because there is one in the office of my wife).
- The many possible settings are not obvious or practical to perform on the job and in any case they are much more complicated than the Logitech squeezebox.
- The aesthetic is rather retro and pretty "cheesy" (how English). Once again, nothing to do with the beautiful aesthetic of Logitech squeezebox!
