After buying her out and tried what is finalemnt a gadget not very practical either NEX5, I gave up for a while the idea of the point, shot & publish quality ... So, for several months I use a high-end DSLR + wifi + Galaxy Note and PhotoMate to enrich "Live" quality for some specialized website with 3G transfer on their web pages. In September, I have advantageously replaced by a Galaxy Note Sony xperia Z Ultra (over the top) and I took the opportunity to see if the QX100 could fall within the gadget or complement my DSLR. The result: - It works globally nickel to the atmosphere without motion picture and jpg are "solid" is not the Canon so it pulls on the green, but it is ready to crop (correcting horizons and receive logos websites and update their website or facebook "pro" all from Ultra Z. - It unfortunately lacks manual ISO selection which indirectly would handle the shutter speed (in A mode) - The MAP ring is really great, except that it lacks a Pinch To Zoom to see exactly where we want to MAP - NFC connection is over the top (the smartphone is glued on top, the wifi connection starts and the app automatically opens). - The absence of RAW failed to take a step in sharpness level noise suppression and improvement of dark areas (to look a little more detail anyway)
The question is whether Sony will follow in google and release the QX100 its limits (RAW, Pinch To Zoom, ISO manual ..) with that, these are unrivaled 180g !!! In short .. too good too soon unless Sony moves a bit more.
