For someone who wants to learn to program in BASIC for PIC microcontrollers, here is an excellent book. He goes around the issue, not to mention the material aspect and transfer from PC to microcontroller programs. One feels, in the text, a clear bias in favor of BASIC MIKROELEKTRONIKA, however, if BASIC does not really optimizes the object code, there is a very simple approach to modern language. The author made the rounds of various aspects of programming in BASIC and always provides examples that work. This allows progress without asking too many questions. Questions whose explanation often appears later in the book. For my part, I master assembler. I found in this book of original ideas that really allowed me to progress and to mix assembler and BASIC. The assembler for its precision in the timing and BASIC for its power of mathematical calculation. A flat light: the author avoids mention some pitfalls, such as bugs resulting from transactions between different format variables. This could save time in the development of personal programs!
