I do not like live albums since my clapping in the audience gets on my nerves, among others, and the songs are of course not as sophisticated as on the studio album. But as Rosenstolz is my favorite band and I have next to this still 9 other albums by the duo, I could not resist the lure of this live album. Fortunately, because otherwise I would have missed out on an exciting listening experience. The CD is called while "The Great Life Live", but of the 25 songs on the double album will of course not be found on the accompanying studio album "The Great Life". In addition to 10 songs from "The Great Life" and the song "Where are you" (from "The Great Life (Advanced tracklisting)") can still be 14 songs from older albums on the CD, so this is very varied. Straight from the start: The band plays terrific and Anna sings just wonderful! Sometimes the songs are so perfect that one has to hear a studio recording almost feel. The singer had her voice under control and also copes effortlessly heights. Peter Plate also dares to three times the mic and does his job not so bad. Some songs sound different than the corresponding studio recording. That's about when "Only once more" the case, a highlight of the album! And the two tear the audience heard not infrequently it sings the songs text safely. Since it is desired to be almost been there himself. Hopefully there is a "The Search Continues Live"!
