The WD My Passport for Mac is different from other external drives only,
that it is already formatted for OSX u. thus can be used immediately.
Of course, the plate may also be formatted for Microsoft, etc. if desired.
Beautiful compact design, works for me so far easily than OSX TimeMashine backup storage medium.
