Extravagant | Exhausting | Anti Music | Art

This album is truly a gem for any collection. Hardly a work is as extravagant as this.
Today it has finally arrived in the mail. I have heard it through twice. I think I'll make the SACD time being in the cabinet and there they will first rest a while.
Because frankly it is happening extremely difficult to listen to this. While it is awesome, no doubt, but at some point you tense increasingly while listening and you can feel a slight pressure on the back of the head, caused by strong tensions.
One would like to press the stop button, but you do not do it then but, because these are the "songs" to be interesting to detail fully to good.
If you make it yet, turn off the sound somehow, you feel a sense of relaxation imenses. Is it still a little tense, can myself Ishaam Mark's "And Miles He Goes Before He Sleeps" go through your head - and you'll be fine!
Although medulla of course deserves a work of art the highest rating, I decided deliberately to forgive only 4 stars. Too strenuous is the music, also have Björk's vocals can still turn out a decent Tick in many respects.
Sometimes less is often more, especially when the sounds / instruments were so awesome implemented by "real" voices / replaced. Björk's deposits are in this album too intrusive for my taste and too narcissistic to skillfully to avant-garde - almost anti-music.
From Björk's albums I find best is still "Homogenic", "Debut" and "Post". If I hear a little pure there, I'm almost willing to forgive Mark even less stars. But for that I find the idea with the voices and their implementation far too genial.
I still hope that Björk is not completely by rotating in the search for more and more avant-garde and extravagance. She does not need. She has always been great!
Possibly Maybe get yes Björk in the future something fancy warmer melodies, in which one would like envelops itself! Music up!
