Try To Remember (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I was very skeptical about this latest CD from M & A, because with cover versions which is always a bit tricky. Then I was but in the studio concert in Baden-Baden, where the new CD was presented with ribbon - and was entranced. Now I bought the CD: Everything consistently catchy duets that we know, perfectly arranged with top musicians and recorded with two votes of a high recognition value. My personal favorite is Gene Pitney's "Something's gotten hold of my heart", the not so bombastic and encompassing comes in this case, but very thoughtful and doubtful according to the motto "Is this love now really what they seem to be?" , Beautifully. There are mostly ballads or lyrical pieces, some with Italian fusion as "Gente di mare" or "Senza una donna". And just in "Scarborough Fair" the voices of M & A to come to shine, as we experience it over and over again at the concerts. It is nice that there is no attempt to imitate the originals, but their own interpretations have been found. Total comes with every piece of the play and experimentation of two singers and their band expressed, you realize that you had fun animal when recording. And if this turns out to emotional, which can rock out right the Dancefloor Feger "Little Latin Lupe Lu".

For me personally, this CD is a welcome addition to any CD rack, not only the M & A fans, remarkably well received with absolute professionals. Therefore: 5 stars!
