To Album:
That's how it's done. The new is also the last Pink Floyd album definitely. As in fast forward resound again nearly 50 years of band history in quotations and recordings of the '60s to modern times as a gentle noise of a passing. No compilation of old songs, no sadness, no kitsch. An album that the band member Richard Wright died in 2008 is more righteous than any obituary, as a grave stone or a compilation. Once again you can hear his harmonies and his key play.
Gilmour and Mason find the right way and tone. The last track "Louder than Words", the only song with text says
"The sum of our parts
the beat of our hearts
is louder than words "
RIP Richard Wright.
