Far Cry 3 - Limited Edition (100% uncut) - [PlayStation 3] (Video Game)

Customer Review

I liked already the predecessor quite happy, though Far Cry 2 but revealed some rough edges during gameplay.

Far Cry 3 is for me without 'ifs and buts' Game of the Year 2012. The price / performance ratio is excellent even for offline player (campaign). I now have about 25 hours. (Net!) Occupied myself with the game and am with a progress of 50%.

Entry into the wonderful dream island adventure I found a bit difficult, because I spilled some sort of counter information overload, the only times I had to let Sacken. Little by little, but unfolds the universal gameplay and the more you get used eg to upgrade the system of weapons and skills, the more one pulls this game deep into the fantastic nature and wildlife of the giant island landscapes.

For such a large open world scenario, the graphics is super well done. The only downer is the sometimes slow frame rate and occasionally slight tearing. The game play and graphics enjoyment is influenced only marginally, if at all. It clearly outweighs the "stowage factor" on the insane real looking island landscape including beach, lakes, rivers, cliffs, etc.

On the nature sounds and weapon sounds there is not the slightest fault, everything works perfectly and appropriately to the situation. As in the second part there is again day night cycles and short thundershower which the scenery, of course, times seems much more dynamic.

The icing on the cake is the cool-made main story and the conquering of the numerous well-guarded outpost. Apart from that, there are plenty of variety through side quests, many of which are even very important for various equipment upgrades.

For several years, no video game has taken me so long in his world as Far Cry 3. Especially spying and sneaking to the enemy bases / Sentinel and reflection and converting the attack tactics always gives me a new "kick".

The gameplay could perhaps best be compared with that of Crysis 1, but the extent is again greater in Far Cry 3 at worlds !!

PS: There are also again Hängegleiter :-)

PSS: Crysis 1, there is some time in the PSN Store as a download game for PS3.
