The lens will work on the Pentax K-01 and has become my Always plan.

Disadvantage
- Weight
- Size

Since my Tamron 17-50 was too loud and too soft and the Pentax too expensive. I have decided for the Sigma and am very happy.
Unfortunately had to focus properly until the second lens ordered.
