Fate has slammed ...

Now, after more than three years, the group returns, but consists only of four young women: Sandy, Nadja, Jessica and Lucy. Together, they have decided to revive the old successes. Their comeback single "Goodbye to Yesterday" but landed at No. 4 of the German single charts. Media claim that this is a good result, but one should remember that it is making a comeback and scored each of the first published singles of an album of the angels of 0 to # 1. For me, the weak start but no surprise. In "Goodbye to Yesterday" is an average pop song that you just continue on after a while. Only the adorned with metaphors Text saves this song. However, what man pays attention to the text, when he hears the song on the radio? And that's the problem: With this song they could only animate people and old fans who are looking for a comeback of angels interested and not for the song. And now comes the comeback album. "Destiny" includes 13 songs of all possible pop genres; sometimes loud, sometimes quiet and something in between. The album puts down a weak start. The first, already above commented song "Goodbye to Yesterday" is not able to tie me up, Track 2, called "I believe in you" forces me despite the pleasant verses for indexing, since the chorus just gets on my nerves: the right person pop with unpretentious text. The beginning with a very nice guitar intro piece "Maybe" sparked the end as a typical Rumgeschrei song that does not convince me. Probably this song is but a single release, so that only the classical and ruined me of Lucy's voice piece "Make a Change" to be published so that the horrific single releases of "No Angels" album nothing stands in the way. Unfortunately, this does make a comeback only when you have a good feel for hits and that feeling did not the "No Angels" tragically. Nevertheless, they can be different: The refreshing, perfectly created for the summer piece "I had a feeling" and the beat-heavy and partially classically inspired "Been Here Before" have absolute potential for a successful single. Ballads like the lyrically beautiful and convincing by easy electronic sounding voices "what if" and the beautiful Streicher piano ballad "Rhythm of My Heart" rob a breath away. There are also very well orchestrated and impressive by the chorus songs like "Misguided heart" and the classic-pop reminiscent of musicals track "A Reason", which does not interfere, but is also no Hilight.

"Destiny" also encourages by the very beautiful cover and the unusual shell (as with "Noiz" the "Söhne Mannheims") for sale. Unfortunately, the Angels have recorded for me no further: Still no self-written songs despite the long break and a vocal improvement can be seen only at Jessica. I wish them with "Destiny" in spite of everything an entry at number one, but doubt this, just as rock-brat Avril Lavigne has simultaneously released their album. Let's hope the next album on songs that show us definitively that the "No Angels" which are very special.
