The most coherent situation equivalent to most songs on this album would be a Mach-3 flight in a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, possible with an open cockpit, so that a driving wind can nicely drechseln the whole physiognomy behind her ears. 600-1000 strokes per minute, no idea at some point denied the ear as a measuring instrument. Anyway, this music is FAST. Extremely fast. It's even reached so quickly that their rhythm momentarily dissolves in frenzied texture, therefore, more generally, as some kind of a new level. Is this perhaps meant when Liturgy speak of their music as "transcendental black metal"? No, because it's probably more, ahem, content (Some texts seem to me to go in the direction of sun worship).
But these cross experiential Hyper Speeds awareness that perhaps finally on "Black Metal", gives Liturgys work alongside all impression Schin Denden (which even my sweetheart at today morning pure listening appointment was unable to escape) just a little grotesque, grotesque, very ghastly. What she would make as psychoacoustic ambience to the final came down to earth Horned a top score, I think, anyway. Sounds purely harmonious often as Trötenquartette in sandals movies, but just in nervenzerfetzendem lapse. And if for the apocalypse but not enough or good ol 'Satan simply not rankommt she recalls haptic at least very close to Dario Argento höchstgardig aesthetic (siehste times!) Blood injection orgies in films like "Suspiria" and "Tenebrae". Or indirectly to the Japanese of Melt-Banana, whose panels also always listen, as would have been a wasted with the speed knobs.

That can hold me, if you do not want to be described as the music. Without tiring to swing in authenticity debates that are instigated to my knowledge especially from conservative Kirchenabfacklern. Nagging yawn. It's music, your 3-golden-hair splitters.

Exceptions: The Only from Hunter Hunt-Hendrix's nasal and a little boring Clean voice zusammengedubbte "Glass Earth", the totally comprehensible (high but not inferior and probably ensemble far handed rehearsed) "Veins Of God" and "Generation", the instrumental consensus Hit; a play that makes one again really clear what "hammering" actually means in the core. You always think so, you know all this, but is only partly true. Such relative breathers need it in this snarling maelstrom - at least for Cyclops like me who like to like their Metal brummelig and roux base.
