Now I have not bought a good piece as fetal doppler, but as an experiment that is perfectly managed. It is appropriate to make any movement (eg blood flow) audible. I, for my job, listen to the flow conditions of an artificial heart valve.
As fetal doppler I can only say that the device is easy and foolproof to use. A drop of gel on the probe and then just try it, where the best "reception" is, depending on how the child is located.
