Had until now only Navigon devices. I'm very satisfied with the new TomTom. Because I just want to navigate with the device, I am very pleased that TomTom has waived many unnecessary features. The navigation with the live service is very good. What lifetime means exactly, we will learn. But I am confident that I get 5 years current maps and traffic service. The 6000 is a little too big for my taste. I keep it nonetheless. However, it also reaches the Little.

For those who want only to navigate and in a high quality, which I can recommend the device highly.
