The anticipation among the LEGO Star Wars fans were correspondingly large and now there is the question whether it was worth waiting. In short: Yes, absolutely! I was especially pleased in addition to the successful model of the Cantina that the set includes the same 8 minifigures that correspond visually outstanding film scenes (Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker and Greedo and three musicians and a Sandtrooper) as many figures are not granted at a suggested retail price of only 80 euros. And that's not all: Also included are a 15 cm long Taurücken (kind of a big lizard) including saddle and bridle and also Luke's Land Speeder-glider with a length of about 18 cm.
The Cantina itself is the film modeled very well modeled and has many fine details on. They can be opened so that the interior can see (open it is about 32 cm wide). At the entrance there is a sliding door and a scanner that can detect droids. A bar are among others tables and chairs for guests as well as shelves, bottles and a stage for the appearance of the band. For accessories of the figures include various laser guns and lightsabers. The contents of the set are distributed among five numbered plastic bags, also have a sticker sheet and two instruction booklets included. The setting up of the complete scene will take quite 2 hours, should feasible for each LEGO constructor from 6 years (even if on the package of 8).
Conclusion:
--------
Although I would have liked an even bigger model with even more figures after such a long wait and it also gladly spent more money, I am very satisfied with this replica of the Cantina. Not later than the 8 minifigures and Taurücken make the set for almost every (old) Star Wars fan to compulsory purchase.
