How do I became aware of Yiruma? About a year ago I was looking for a contemporary pianist who composes his own music. At that time, I came across Yiruma. I had to order his CDs from South Korea to enjoy the works in CD-quality. Now he appears to make the jump to Germany. I hope that this is only the beginning and that many more works Yirumas be published here.
My highlights of this compilation are "River Flows In You", "May be", "It's your day" and "Kiss the Rain", but this does not mean that the other songs are of poor quality. There is not a single track that stands out negatively and that makes this artist so unique. Only the audio samples provide a a great feeling. I recognize every single title.
If you want to hear very good acoustic piano music, escape into a dream world or wants to simply put you in a good mood, this CD is a mandatory purchase.
