Finally wirelessly with UMTS!

I have in my home (in rural areas - where there is no DSL) Since January 2010 a UMTS stick and a contract to can use the Internet. It so happens that because of the rather large distance from the house to the next radio mast reception is only at a certain place in the house UMTS. In this respect it was always gezungen in this one room to use the internet and also was only possible if you took a very long USB cable.
With this router, it is now finally possible to easily make a lot of things that did not go before. So I can finally back with my 'good old' Arbeitscomptuer with which the UMTS Stick was incompatible to access the Internet, but I can also use my new computer or my iPod, the Internet. Previously it was only possible to get on the internet with the new computer.
And what is not negligible, it is in the family who no longer allowed to use the computer and when it no longer sits all in my not very large study dispute. So I can work in peace at my desk and others can go about their interests, homework or their work in peace. This router has in us certainly contributed to the family Frienden and equalized the entire Internet situation. I would recommend anyone to use this equipment if it has a similar situation in his home!
Technical equipment:
The router is very easy to configure and found my T-Mobile merger Stick (ZTE MF637) right away. The entire configuration took less than 10 minutes and I 'was there' on the Internet. That was really very simple. Even the wireles LAN was set up very easily. After logging in to the router, the thing is self-explanatory for those who have something ever seen / done. Otherwise, the manual is also quite useful. Exactly how this would work with a DSL router network I can not say. The wireless LAN can be received well at our entire 1000 square meters of grounds and in every corner of the house or the barn.
Netgear has not made his reputation in this case, all the glory: it is the first Netgear router does not crash and really absolutely reliable work I own / have owned or used. And I use Netgear networking products (hubs, routers) since 1999. So if you have also experienced this problem let me tell you that here it may expect a positive surprise.

What else?
- The UMTS stick only works with the included adapter. He funktioneirt not when it is connected to another USB cable (even if you can pinch one as an extension between the router and supplied Stick adapter of course) and not when it is plugged directly into the router
- I can not tell you how the router with other sticks funktioneirt as with firmware updates or the like. Netgear know out that you should find out about the compatibility lists MTI different sticks on their site and it seems to me that a reasonable notice. It seems to me however to be such that all today's popular devices are supported.
- Works perfectly with Mac OS X, Windows 7, Windows XP, Vista Windos, Windos 2000 (So is saying you can log in from any device on the router to set him or the wireless LAN password nachzuschauen what one has already forgotten
- Outside of Germany you should if you want to use it as a DSL router Annex B device like this needs here or not.
