This is my first Bamix.
I bought it to replace my previous mixer, aged over 10, who still worked mechanically, but the blade was blunt.
USE FOR VEGETABLE SOUP
With my previous blender, vegetables, son curled around the axis of the blade (not effective and work untangling cleaning)
Test to mix the soup with a knife suitable for fibrous vegetables:
Using the knife to the Bamix fibrous vegetables, oh joy! More son leek wound around the axis of the blade (or just a few fibers ... but more tangled package).
I have not tested on pea pods.
This Bamix is less noisy than my previous mix, and I find it more effective to mix vegetable soups.
This mixer is less dangerous than I thought: only the knife rotates in the small "cage" formed by the "teeth" at the end of the foot.
The stainless steel shaft that is seen in the photo is not rotating out. The small "cage" is not running either.
I feared that this set of parts turn (like a paint mixer after some drills), but this is not the case. Good!
For cleaning every day, only the knife blade can be removed and washed.
The stainless steel parts washed in the sink without removing the body of the device.
USE CREAM CHANTILLY
Whaoo, I just made my first whipped and I am blown away. I followed the unit's handling of instructions to achieve it. And it was extremely faster than my electric mixer to whip. And the texture was really nice (with a Breton whipping cream without thickener or emulsifier).
