Otherwise, I was told how pleased I have had a lot of fun while shooting.
Then the X-S1 was presented - it had been improved in all these points. Some months I could still resist, then the price would be reduced and solved the often discussed "white slices problem," now I have slammed. I would now like to briefly reflect my first impressions, in the most excellent reviews previously was very much described to the camera.
- The X-S1 has become more compact, the lens is in the retracted state shorter.
- It is very good in my rather large hands.
- The zoom ring can be operated very well
- The lens has in the extended state a little more game - but not disturb
- The display is very good and can be folded back at last
- The electronic viewfinder is a revelation, the picture is much greater, even with glasses still very useful
- Very nice is also the last available TTL metering for the external flash, I have the Fuji EF-42, works great.
- Much better the various continuous shooting options
- Video tried only briefly, seems to work well
- Image quality for a bridge camera with huge zoom range very well, better than any of my already good predecessor.
My einstweiliges judgment: Excellent camera with enormous possibilities for the bridge camera fan.
Of course you can opt for the price for an entry-level DSL, the X-S1 but is more versatile and complete equipped.
