Conclusion for longer and shorter hikes: just great!
I use an EOS 60D with 24-105 lens and had no problems at all, even with 8-hour hikes with partly unpleasant rocky and steep passages uphill and downhill.
The camera always got stuck and I never had the feeling that something is loose or loose.
The bracket on the backpack straps I have 24 previously installed and before the first hike tightened slightly (the padding of the belt was at the beginning a little after) then was fixed everything and I had to do nothing more.
Even with the strap attached to the camera, I had no problems.
The only thing I had to do was secure "drive out" the lens with a piece of Velcro to.
I would recommend the system fully.
