The album 'Like A Virgin' meant the international breakthrough for Madonna and has remained an indispensable classics from the decade. The songs are all timeless pop of a quality that can hardly be found in Einheitscastingbrei today. Unfortunately, the record company has a chance to fully pack the songs from the relevant time on the CD the re-release, not used. At the time, the vinyl disc first appeared without 'Into The Groove', and later, after the mega success of the single, then again with the song. I really wonder what it makes sense to publish the CD more than 20 years later without the classic. Forgot? Commendable, however, the idea is to pack on the CD as bonus tracks Maxi versions of the then decoupled hits. But here the implementation is only half-heartedly. Why was the Maxis of 'Dress You Up' and 'Angel' omitted? Especially with 'Dress You Up' was the extended version much more powerful and dynamic than the album version. However, if you had all Maxis added to the album, it would have been a reason for me to purchase the CD for a second time, so the added value to previous CD releases is too low with just considering the fierce price. For the songs themselves 5 stars!
