For me this was Extender unusable. Although fit on the 7D, but can the focus point hardly judge by the poor lens and the viewfinder image is distorted tidy. The court advantage it brings indeed, but one tends to intuitively prefer to switch to Live View as to look through this lens button. Too bad back.
